Welcome to the website for the Referral Panel of the Greater Washington Society for Clinical Social Work . The GWSCSW is the professional organization for clinical social workers in the Metropolitan Washington area. Our 500 members practice in a variety of settings including mental health clinics, psychiatric hospitals, medical facilities, and private practice. Our Society is an affiliate of the national Clinical Social Work Association.

The GWSCSW Referral Panel has been providing information and referrals to the community at large since 1979. Our clinicians can help you deal with an array of problems in your personal and professional life.

All Referral Panel members have a master’s or a doctorate degree in social work and many have further post-graduate training. Licensed in Maryland, Virginia and/or the District of Columbia as independent practitioners, all are required to have several years of supervised practice experience before entering private practice.
